Letters from Lauren

Hello -  My name is Lauren and welcome to my blog. My entire life, I have loved to write. From a young age, I have been writings stories, essays, poetry (thank you iPhone Notes app and decades old Tumblr page), and it feels like one of the truest ways in which I am able to express myself. At 8 years old, I wanted to be author, and even though my life has taken a much different path, reading and writing has always followed and supported me when I needed it most.  For those who are close to me, you know this past year has been one of the hardest and ugliest years of my life. I faced struggle after struggle with little room to come up for air. I was forced to face my deepest fears back to back and for months on end, I felt like I was drowning. Now that I have finally been allowed to catch my breath, it is time to heal. It is time to heal not only from the traumas over the past year, but the demons that have been following me my whole life.
